Zero Balancing

Zero balancing has something to offer everyone, from the office worker with chronic back pain, to the teacher suffering from stress or the athlete wanting to stay injury free and improve performance.

Zero balancing was founded by Dr Fritz Smith, an osteopath, physician and acupuncturist in 1975. He understood the importance of integrating mainstream Western scientific approaches to body structure with concepts of energy and healing used routinely in the East.

Zero balancing is a gentle technique that balances body energy with body structure. It focuses on tension held in the bones and deep joints of the body that can often become tight due to repetitive activities, poor posture, stress and trauma. The practitioner uses stretches and encourage natural realignment and improve posture.

Each session takes around 45 minutes and is done with the client fully clothed.
