Tai Chi course – for all abilities

28th Feb/1st March 2009
Bramcote Memorial hall, Nottingham, NG9 3HD.
Sat 12 -6pm Sunday 9am -3pm £70 per w/e or £40 per day.

Tai Chi is a slow moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self defence. It is suitable for everyone and can help strengthen muscles, increase joint flexibility, improve balance and eye/hand coordination, lower blood pressure, improve posture and calm and focus the mind.

Do you work at a computer? Does your neck often feel stiff and tired?

Then try this stretch everyday for 5 days...

  • Bend the neck to the right only to where it is comfortable.
  • Place the right hand on the top of head.
  • Press your head back against your right hand as if trying to straighten the head.
  • Exhale; bend neck to the right, assist gently with right hand.
  • Repeat stretch 2-3 times.
  • Do not overstretch, if you feel dizzy, nauseous or have any pain while doing the exercise stop immediately and seek medical advise.
