FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE 8 STEP EXERCISES
SET 1 Breath Awareness
These exercises focus on strengthening the breathing muscles and reducing tension in the upper back and chest. Each exercise coordinates a physical movement with the breath to keep the body energised during activity.
SET 2 Silk Weaving
These exercise train a combination of twisting and turning movements that connect, mobilize and strengthen all the major joints in the body.
SET 3 Dao Yin
Originating from Chinese yoga the DaoYin exercises stretch and strengthen the body in all directions creating more efficiency, precision and relaxation during movement.
SET 4 Proprioceptive Training
The dynamic kicking set is a whole body workout. It develops a high degree of co-ordination, balance and agility as well as cardiovascular fitness.
SET 5 Seated DaoYin
The seated DaoYin is a challenging set of exercises which twist and rotate the spine to strengthen the lower back and therefore keep the movement of the trunk stable over the hips during physical activity.
SET 6 Recover and Repair
These exercises show how to wring and squeeze the tissues to stimulate circulation, remove toxins and cleanse the body. This enables tissues to recover and repair quickly after exercise reducing the risk of injury.
SET 7 Iron Body
The Iron Body set requires the person to maintain static squat, push-up and plank positions to develop core strength and muscular endurance.
SET 8 Standing Meditation
The standing meditation uses different hand positions to calm and focus the mind. In these positions the cells of the body are able to strengthen their natural vibration without the distraction of movement. This in turn rejuvenates the body creating effortless power and good health.
"These exercises also seem to improve concentration and help in other areas of life too."
